Presenting William Optic’s Vixen style-base (Low Latitude) tracking mount wedge

This beautiful Vixen-style tracking mount wedge from William Optics is an ideal upgrade to the iOptron SkyGuider Pro’s tracking mount.

While the iOptron SkyGuider Pro’s default wedge is of good and robust design, the added precision features and fine controls is what gives this wedge an advantage in taking better quality images.

Precision 100% CNC manufactured, and weighing in at only 990g, this base improves rock-solid stability and facilitates fine adjustment and control of the mount position and tracking. The look and feel of this base makes it an ideal match for the William Optics RedCat 51, but it works with any small telescope with a Vixen mounting rail. This wedge is mechanically optimized for adjustments for observing at locations from 7 degrees to 34 degrees latitude (low-latitude).
