This digital micro-controlled dew controller has been designed and built in the UK using the highest quality electronic components. With all aspects of astronomy in mind, the controller is easy to use, providing a visual feedback of the current setting (unlike rotary knob versions). The dew controller (also known as dew heater controller) is used in conjunction with dew heater strips to prevent condensation on telescopes, finders and mirrors. Using a controller provides fine control of temperature as well as power consumption. You would select the controller based on the number of heaters you will be using and then you would set the power level to low setting. If you are still getting condensation, you would raise the power level till the condensation stops forming. In general, the higher the humidity level the higher the power setting is needed to prevent condensation. These units come with cigarette lighter style plugs, but you can change the plug yourself if needed.
