What is ASC’s Warranty Policy for Telescopes and Astronomy Equipment?

At Astronomical Solutions Company (ASC), our warranty policy is designed to give you peace of mind when purchasing astronomy equipment from us.

1. Manufacturer Warranty: For products where the manufacturer offers a warranty, we extend the same warranty terms to you. This means you’ll receive the full benefit of the manufacturer’s warranty when you purchase these items from ASC.
2. ASC Limited Warranty: In cases where the manufacturer does not offer a warranty, we provide our own limited warranty. This covers defects in manufacturing for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. Our goal is to ensure that you receive quality products free from manufacturing defects.
3. Special Request Items: There are instances where a customer may request a product that we don’t normally stock or sell. In these cases, we procure the item on behalf of the customer for their convenience. However, for these specially requested items, we do not offer a warranty. This is because we have no control over the warranty terms offered by the original seller or manufacturer, and thus cannot take responsibility for these products.
